Artist's work on display at state Capitol

Artist Tom F. Hermansader of Columbia has been invited to show his artwork at the Pennsylvania state Capitol located in Harrisburg. The art is being featured in the East Wing of the Capitol through Thursday, Aug. 31.

In addition to more than 170 open-edition and closed/limited-edition prints to choose from, Hermansader has available collectibles like porcelain ornaments, acrylic-coated coasters, paperweights, plates, and more. To learn more, visit http://www.hermansadersartgallery.com.

Sen. Ryan Aument was instrumental in developing the display, and Hermansader recently presented him with one of his prints of the Veteran's Memorial Bridge. Hermansader planned to present the same framed print to Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro.

Three of Hermansader's prints hang in the Capitol and were presented to three former Pennsylvania governors: Ed Rendell, Mark Schweiker and Tom Corbett.
