The Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church (UMC) and Water's Edge UMC invite the public to their Ash Wednesday service on Wednesday, Feb. 22, in the sanctuary at Water's Edge UMC, 471 Abels Road, Wrightsville. The service will begin at 7 p.m.

Pastor Terry Robinson will present the message, "A Well-Watered Garden," based on Isaiah 58:1-12. During the service, those wishing to participate may have a cross of ashes placed on their forehead as a symbol of their penitence.
