Auction Benefits Art Association, Humane Society

Cordier Auctions recently hosted an online auction to benefit the Art Association of Harrisburg and the Humane Society of Harrisburg Area. Artwork from the collection of the late Raymonde "Re" DeSabres Plaut was offered. DeSabres Plaut loved both art and animals, and one of her final wishes was for her art collection to benefit these two causes.

Not only was DeSabres Plaut well-known as the owner of The Four Winds gallery in Harrisburg, but she was also a long-time exhibiting artist with a distinct expressionist style. Her collection of artworks brought more than $16,000, which was split between the Art Association of Harrisburg and the Humane Society of Harrisburg Area.
