Audubon Society plans activities

Quittapahilla Audubon Society will host a "Birds, Blooms, and Butterflies" guided hike on Saturday, June 8, at 8 a.m. at Middle Creek Wildlife Management Area. The hike will start at the Middle Creek Visitors Center, 100 Museum Road, Stevens, and participants will seek to observe flowers, birds, and insects. The important ecological relationships between them will be investigated.

A "Birds, Blooms, and Butterflies" field trip will be held on Sunday, June 30, at the Governor Dick Park, Manheim. Attendees should meet at 10 a.m. at the Nature Center off Pinch Road.
