Hawk Mountain Sanctuary has studied turkey vultures for the last 15 years. Brown will share what the sanctuary has learned about the movement ecology of this species using both high- and low-tech methods.

The church parking lot is located behind the church off Spruce Street. Attendees should enter the church from the parking lot entrance.

Maloof will discuss how forests of different ages support different bird species and why forests in their natural condition can support the full structural characteristics needed by forest dwelling bird species. Maloof will also discuss the condition of the Earth's forests and what people can do to save habitat for all species. Maloof is an ecologist with a doctorate, an author of four books, and the founder of the Old-Growth Forest Network. Copies of books will be available for sale and signing.
