Traci Frantz of Quarryville recently published a book, "With Courage And Grace," which recounts the 10-year breast cancer journey of her daughter, Tiffany. The memoir begins with Tiffany's diagnosis at the age of 21 through 10 years of numerous treatments, imaging and surgeries.

Frantz noted that the book contains many humorous moments as humor is how Tiffany accepted and lived with her diagnosis. Frantz's book tells the story of how Tiffany inspired hundreds of women throughout the world with her story and inspired those who knew her as friends, as well as strangers.

Frantz explained that the book will benefit everyone, but speaks mostly to those in their 20s, 30s and 40s. 

Frantz will do her first book signing at Ancient Order of Croaking Frogs, 300 Park Ave., Quarryville, on Saturday, June 7, from 1 to 5 p.m. with another signing in late July at The Daily Grind in Quarryville. The June 7 event will also have a basket giveaway in which all the proceeds from ticket sales will benefit a local breast cancer nonprofit. Donated baskets are welcome.
