Women of all ages and preschool children are invited to attend Neighbors Sharing and Caring, a women's ministry of the Chiques Church, 4045 Sunnyside Road, Manheim, on Tuesday, March 5, from 9 to 10:45 a.m.

Susan Joy Simkins will share a message titled "Jesus Came to Heal the Brokenhearted," featuring illustrations from her life story and Scripture.

Simkins earned a Ph.D. from Ohio State University and is a professor of industrial-organizational psychology at the Pennsylvania State University. She has conducted award-winning research, mentored doctoral students, and taught undergraduates for over 25 years. The author of "Divine Reversal," a 2022 Christian Indie Award winner, Simkins seeks to inspire audiences by offering sharing her life story.
