Bethel United Methodist Church, 1674 Furnace Road, Brogue, will host author Norina Bentzel as the speaker on Sunday, Nov. 3, during the 10:15 a.m. Sunday school time.

Bentzel, former principal of North Hopewell-Winterstown Elementary School in Red Lion Area School District, will share her experiences of the day in February 2001 when a man wielding a machete entered the school and attacked students and staff members. She will speak about the crisis, recovery, and coming to terms with the memories of that day.

A worship service led by pastor Beth Holz begins at 9 a.m. each Sunday and is open to all.
