The 2023 Bainbridge Memorial Day Parade will take place on Monday, May 29, beginning at 9 a.m. The parade will form at the Bainbridge Elementary School, 416 N. Second St., and proceed down Second Street to the Locust Grove Cemetery, where a service will take place. State Rep. Tom Jones will be the guest speaker.

Also featured will be the crowning of the Poppy King and Queen. This year's Poppy nominees are Jada Polkabla, Emma Hammer, Peyton Fisher, Caden McConnel and Callie Hammer. Monies raised through the nominees selling poppies will benefit veterans.

A community lunch will take place after the parade.

Prior to the Bainbridge Parade, a rifle salute will take place in Falmouth Cemetery to honor the veterans.
