The Eastern York High School band has shared its recent activities. From March 17 to 21, the band took a trip to Florida to visit Walt Disney World and take part in a recording session workshop. After returning, the students took part in the school musical and then presented their spring pops concert the following week to celebrate Music in Our Schools Month, March.

Michael Feliciano-Vidot, a senior, played the baritone saxophone in the Pennsylvania Music Educators Association (PMEA) All-State Concert Band from April 7 to 9 at the Kalahari Resort and Convention Center in the Poconos. Feliciano-Vidot had successfully auditioned at several levels to make it to states. He participated in District 7 Band at Central York in January and Region 5 Band at Big Spring in March. PMEA is made up of music teachers from all over the state, and hundreds of students from school districts across Pennsylvania audition to take part in PMEA ensembles.
