Barbecue meal will support Mt. Hope

The public is invited to support the work and ministry of Mt. Hope Nazarene Retirement Community by attending a Spring Fling To-Go Picnic on Friday, May 3. The drive-through pickup meal will be available from 4:30 to 6 p.m. in the parking lot of LCBC - Manheim Campus, 2392 Mount Joy Road, Manheim.

Each meal will include Peters' BBQ pulled pork on a homemade Amish soft sandwich roll, a baked potato with sour cream and butter, sweet and sour green beans with bacon, Mt. Hope's homemade coleslaw and a dessert.

To preorder a meal, contact Kris Wilson, director of advancement, at 717-682-8026 or advancement@mthopenazarene.org by Monday, April 29. Extra meals will be available while supplies last. Customers may pay in the form of cash or checks made payable to "Mt. Hope Nazarene Retirement Community."

Mt. Hope Nazarene Retirement Community, located in Rapho Township, is a 50-bed skilled nursing facility and rehabilitation center with independent living cottages on its campus. With a mission of caring for residents regardless of their ability to pay, the retirement community aims to provide quality nursing care regardless of someone's changing financial or personal circumstances.
