Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Capital Region (BBBSCR), 1519 N. Third St., Harrisburg, will hold a Back-to-School Block Party and Resource Fair on Saturday, Sept. 10, from 10 a.m. to noon.

Families are invited to bring their kids and teens to receive free school supplies, books, backpacks, haircut vouchers, new shoes and more. Community and service organizations will be present to share information about free activities, services and resources. Parking for the event will be available at BBBSCR.
