Benefit auction planned

The Lanco Recovery Benefit Auction will be held on Friday and Saturday, Aug. 4 and 5, at 320 N. Ronks Road, Bird-in-Hand. Proceeds will from the family-friendly event will benefit Restart Training Center Ministry Inc., The Potter's House and Slow Down Ministries.

The event will begin on Aug. 4 at approximately 5:30 p.m. and end by about 9 p.m. The schedule for Friday includes music by Dan and Amanda Esh, Matt and Nimmie and the Brandenberger Family, as well as food and testimonies.

The auction will start around 9 a.m. on Aug. 5. Other activities will include a candy drop from an airplane at about noon, the ticket prize auction, an archery tournament and food. In the evening, attendees will hear testimonies from the ministries and music from Conrad Fisher, Broadway Band and the Brandenberger Family. Saturday's festivities are anticipated to end by 8 p.m.
