Elizabethtown Area High School (EAHS) has recognized Monisha Bhattarai as the Elizabethtown Lions Club Student of the Month for December. This honor is awarded to Lancaster County Career and Technology Center (LCCTC) students who demonstrate exceptional dedication, character, and commitment to their chosen career pathway.

Monisha, the daughter of Prem and Mana Bhattarai of Elizabethtown, is a student in the Dental Assistant program at the Willow Street LCCTC campus. She is known for her professionalism, kindness, and strong determination to succeed. Monisha arrives prepared, in uniform, and follows all safety protocols while maintaining excellent attendance. She is gaining valuable hands-on experience, such as making custom trays, taking X-rays, and developing foundational clinical skills essential to the dental field. She has also participated in activities through the Lancaster Chamber, further expanding her exposure to professional environments.

Monisha chose to attend LCCTC for the opportunity to engage in a program that supports her future career while still in high school. After graduation, she plans to work in a dental office and later pursue additional training to become an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA).
