Bible Study To Focus On Reformer

Exploring, Growing Together forum learning discussions will be held on Thursdays in July at Lititz United Methodist Church, 201 E. Market St., from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in room 103 on the lower level.

Topics will be "Pardon - Understanding God's Amazing Grace" on July 8, "Purpose - Discovering God's Call" on July 15, "Partners - Pursuing God's Passions Together" on July 22, and "Perseverance - Cultivating Spiritual Disciplines for a Lifestyle of Service" on July 29. The discussion will be based on the "Be a World-Changer" Bible study, which explores the life, faith, and vision of 19th-century British reformer William Wilberforce. No preparation prior to the sessions is needed. People may attend one or more sessions.

No COVID guidelines will be in place. Attendees may bring a lunch to eat during the discussions. Restrooms and a water fountain will be available, but food should be shared only if pre-packaged.

The forum learning series is intended to offer a safe learning environment in which to discuss and explore diverse topics and beliefs. The July series will conclude the group's regular season, and meetings will resume in September.
