St. Paul's United Church of Christ and St. Mark's Lutheran Church, both of Birdsboro, will host a Blue Christmas service of healing and hope on Thursday, Dec. 9, at 6 p.m. at Boone Area Library, 129 N. Mill St., Birdsboro. The service will include prayer, music and reflection.

The service is designed for those grieving the loss of loved ones or a relationship, people struggling with illness or addiction or those suffering from depression or isolation because of the pandemic.

Communion and light refreshments will be served. Information about mental health and community support resources will be available.
