Lancaster Church of the Brethren (COB), 1601 Sunset Ave., Lancaster, will host a Blue Christmas service on Sunday, Dec. 11, at 3 p.m. in the church's chapel.

The intimate, reflective service is for anyone who has lost a loved one recently or otherwise encounters grief and sadness during the holiday season. A safe place is being prepared for worshipers to encounter God in a healing and meaningful way.
