Blue Ridge Launches "Touch a Heart" Initiative

Blue Ridge Communications has announced the kickoff of its 13th annual Touch a Heart campaign, an initiative designed to inspire individuals to create handmade valentines for distribution to nursing home residents, veterans, soldiers and those in need.

Participants of all ages are encouraged to create and submit homemade Valentine's Day cards. Last year, the community helped Blue Ridge collect and deliver more than 10,000 cards to 105 local organizations.

Blue Ridge will accept submissions through Tuesday, Feb. 3. They can be dropped off at any Blue Ridge retail center.
