The Lancaster Bonsai Society will present "Bonsai 101" on Saturday, March 4, from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. in the greenhouse at Stauffers of Kissel Hill Home & Garden Store, 301 Rohrerstown Road, Lancaster.

The speaker will be Ryan Wagner, a club veteran and an associate professor of plant physiology and botany at Millersville University. His will share an introduction to the art of bonsai, tips on growing and caring for bonsai trees and a demonstration of how people can create their own bonsai tree from common nursery plants. A question-and-answer session will follow the presentation.
