Book club to host Eleanor Isaacson

The book club at Willow Street Church, 2723 Willow Street Pike North, Willow Street, will host a presentation by author Eleanor Isaacson on Saturday, Oct. 19, at 10 a.m.

Isaacson, an American who was abandoned in East Germany as a toddler, survived bombings, starvation and the Russian occupation during World War II. She fled to America just as the Iron Curtain fell.

Eventually, Isaacson found the man of her dreams and the beauty of dance and gradually became more and more aware of God, her "invisible friend" who had always loved her.

Her book "Dancing From Darkness" will be available for purchase. A freewill offering will be received, and light refreshments will be served. Everyone is welcome.
