A book launch event celebrating Kara Kennedy's "I Will Never Leave You" will take place on Tuesday, July 23, at Pocket Books Shop, 903 Wheatland Ave., Lancaster, from 6 to 7:30 p.m.

The event will include a conversation between Kennedy and Rachel Moore, author of "The Library of Shadows" and the upcoming "Us In Ruins," and a book signing. "I Will Never Leave You" is Kennedy's debut YA suspense novel.
