The Read Moore Bookstore has announced its summer hours. The store will be open on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.; Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1 to 4 p.m.; and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to noon. The Read Moore Bookstore can be found on the lower level of the Moores Memorial Library, 9 W. Slokom Ave., Christiana. The monthly specials for July include homeschool/education books and history books.

The Read Moore Bookstore is a project of the Friends of the Moores Memorial Library and is completely run by volunteers. All profits from the sale of books and other materials goes directly to fund various library programs and needs. All materials that are sold at the bookstore are donated by patrons or come from the library as it makes room for new books.

Moores Memorial Library is a member of the Lancaster County Library System.
