Brass band to present Christmas concert

St. John Neumann Church, 601 E. Delp Road, Lancaster, will host a Christmas concert by the Auscultation Brass on Tuesday, Dec. 12, at 7 p.m. A freewill offering will be received to benefit the Knights of Columbus.

The Auscultation Band was formed in Lancaster in 1985 and consists of physicians from numerous specialties who have kept the playing of music as a large part of their lives. The band practices weekly and performs in concerts and for charity benefits, with its performance schedule taking it to retirement communities, local churches, and medical events. The band's repertoire includes classical, jazz, and popular brass ensemble tunes.
