Brass Quintet Posts Concert

The brass quintet QuintEssentially Brass will perform at the Lancaster Church of the Brethren, 1601 Sunset Ave., Lancaster, on Saturday, Nov. 5, at 7 p.m. as part of the congregation's Starlight Tea concert series.

Founded in 2009, QuintEssentially Brass consists of Douglas L. Albert and Gene Clark, trumpet; Kristen A. Albert, horn; Andy Walls, trombone; and Geoff Davis, tuba. The musicians span five decades. They will perform a variety of music, including "Bohemian Rhapsody" by Queen, arranged by Steven Verhaert; Horn Concerto in E-flat Major, Movement 1, by W.A. Mozart, arranged by Nicolas Castillo; "Ain't Misbehavin'" by Fats Waller, arranged by Sam Pilafianto; and "Hymn to the Fallen" by John Williams, arranged by Alan Fernie.

A freewill offering will be received. Tea and cookies will be served following the concert.
