Breakfast to Benefit Haldeman Mansion Restoration

The Conoy Lions will hold a breakfast at the Bainbridge Fire Company, 34 S. Second St., Bainbridge, on Saturday, March 14, from 7 to 10 a.m. Proceeds will benefit the Haldeman Mansion Preservation Society's mission of preserving the historic Haldeman Mansion.

The all-you-can-eat meal will include pancakes, sausage, scrambled eggs, home fries, sausage gravy and biscuits. Orange juice, coffee and tea will also be available.

The Haldeman Mansion is home to Samuel Haldeman, professor and natural scientist of the bugs and of the life of swimming creatures of the Susquehanna.

Restoration is happening at the mansion with improvements on the first floor, plus the outside. To learn more, visit http://www.haldeman-mansion.org.

Visitors will be able to see the improvements during the Strawberry Festival to be held at the site in early June.
