The wedding of Summer Mateer and Donald Brooks II took place on Oct. 22 at Sunset Golf Club in Middletown. Kevin Berry officiated at the 3 p.m. ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Lori Conant of Middletown. She attended Elizabethtown Area High School.

The groom is the son of Donald Brooks of Middletown and the late Sharon Brooks. He graduated from Middletown High School in 1995.

The bride wore a black and purple quinceañera ruffle ball gown with a corset bodice adorned with silver accents in the front. She carried a bouquet that she had assembled using black, grey and purple roses. The bride was given in marriage by her son Hunter Mateer.

The maid of honor was Brianna Claar of Elizabethtown, adopted daughter of the bride. The best man was Ryan Lefever of York.

Providing music for the ceremony was DJ Todd Charles.

The reception was held at Sunset Golf Club.

The couple resides in Middletown.
