To purchase tickets, call 717-756-6945 or 717-368-3019, or contact the organization via http://www.buildingbridgesfoundation.org. Tickets may also be purchased on the day of the event while supplies last.

For nearly 10 years, the giveaway drawing event has helped more than 300 veterans participate in the Building Bridges Foundation equine-assisted therapy and Veterans Cafe programs at no charge to the veterans.

Equine-assisted therapy has been practiced for centuries, and it is believed to have begun in ancient Greece. The practice first started in the United States in the 1970s, after the establishment of the North American Riding for the Handicapped Association.
