Camp Invention Connect available for children

This summer, children in kindergarten through sixth grade have the opportunity to attend weekly national editions of Camp Invention Connect's STEM enrichment camp.

Camp Invention Connect is an at-home program designed to be accessible for families that do not have a local Camp Invention program in their area or those who have scheduling conflicts, a health concern, or children with needs that make an online experience more preferable than an in-person program.

Led by qualified educators, children take on five full days of problem-solving challenges and join their fellow campers for optional collaborative sessions throughout each day. The program aims to balance active, independent hands-on exploration with opportunities for socialization from home.

An Innovator's Toolkit of fun materials is shipped directly to each participant, and kids can set up an Innovator Workshop at home. Daily challenges are intended to motivate youths to go outdoors, get active, and stretch their imaginations, and step-by-step activity guides and digital resources are also available for participants.

The national program, featuring Camp Invention's Elevate curriculum, is being offered this summer through July. Parents can learn more about the camp weeks that are available and register for camp at http://www.invent.org/camp-invention-connect.
