Canadian Brass To Perform

Canadian Brass will perform in Biemesderfer Hall at the Winter Center, 60 W. Cottage Ave., Millersville, on Thursday, April 7, at 7:30 p.m.

Canadian Brass comprises founding member Chuck Daellenbach, tuba; James Vaughen and Caleb Hudson, trumpets; Achilles Liarmakopoulos, trombone; and Jeff Nelsen, horn. The group's repertoire features brass standards as well as a wide-ranging library of original arrangements. The repertoire includes works from the Renaissance, Baroque and Classical periods, as well as marches, holiday tunes, ragtime, Dixieland tunes, Latin music, jazz, big band selections, Broadway tunes, Christian music and popular songs. Canadian Brass has a discography of over 130 albums and an extensive worldwide touring schedule, and it has been featured on various television shows.

This performance is made possible through the Melva S. McIlwaine Concert and Masterclass Endowment fund. It is being held by The Arts at Millersville University.
