CAP cadets present colors at Stormers game

The color guard from the Civil Air Patrol (CAP) Jesse Jones Composite Squadron 304 participated in the pregame ceremonies at the Lancaster Stormers' first home game of the season on April 30. The CAP representatives presented the colors during the national anthem prior to the Stormers' game against the Hagerstown Flying Boxcars.

The color guard members were Cadet Senior Master Sgt. Colby Smith, Lancaster; Cadet Senior Master Sgt. Bruce Gentry, Denver; Cadet Chief Master Sgt. Jereco Acosta, Lancaster; Cadet Technical Sgt. Landin Pryzbylkowski, Conestoga; and alternate Cadet Technical Sgt. Cooper Hayes, Lititz. The color guard was joined on the field by uniformed squadron cadet members who stood at attention in a display of solemn respect and unity.

Jesse Jones Squadron 304 meets each Monday except holidays at 7 p.m. in the Venture Jets hangar, which is located at the Lancaster Airport near the intersection of Lititz Pike and Millport Road. Visitors are welcome.
