Senior Commons at Powder Mill, 1775 Powder Mill Road, York, will offer a free caregiver support group meeting on Thursday, March 17, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. for those caring for a loved one living with Alzheimer's disease or dementia.

Some of the most challenging symptoms of Alzheimer's manifest through behaviors like agitation, aggression and delusions. These actions can cause stressful moments that impact at-home care efforts and cause caregiver burnout. Attendees will learn strategies to manage these behaviors from CJ Manning, Senior Commons' memory care director.
