Cavod Ballet Theatre will present "Wonder," a contemporary Christmas ballet. Performance dates and times are Friday, Dec. 15, at 7 p.m.; Saturday, Dec. 16, at 2 and 7 p.m.; and Sunday, Dec. 17, at 4 p.m.

The ballet follows the story of two orphan children, Gracie and Nick, who are searching for the wonder of the holiday season. With the help of three Christmas Lights, Twinkle, Flicker and Pixie, the children adventure through a toy shoppe, Christmas tree village and a cathedral in search of this holiday spirit. Through their journey, the children discover that the wonder of the Christmas season is more than the traditions. True wonder comes from love and being loved.

"Wonder" is an original ballet written, choreographed and directed by Stephanie Morales. Music was composed by Alexander Glazunov, Phillip Glass, Giuseppe Verdi and Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky.

The cast includes Kenzie Beaston as Nick, Selah Byers as Gracie, Emma Abel as Susan Winters, Araunah Boll as Twinkle, Blakely Sowada as Flicker and Emily Spanjer as Pixie. The ensemble includes Hannah Stoltzfoos, Hope Asper, Sierra Hurst, Emily DeRose, Camille Walton, Katelyn Spanjer, Eva-Solène Delroux-Spalding, Lindsey Miller, Elianna Vargas, Evelyn Chambers, Emily Tavalare, Paige Dilda, Aubrey Ault, Mia Erb, Lily Miller, Sadie Smoker, Charlie Walton, Andreia Garcia, Katherine Marusyak, Eliya Reed, Nora Shirk, Julia Zimmerman, Natalie Beaston, Kalyssa Willoughby, Easton Hall, Madelyn Tavalare, Evelyn Garner, Sadie Burridge, Lila Steiginga, Evelyn Tabora, Arroe Canull, Aspen Hall, Julien Canull, Madelyn Galliher and Leilani Garcia.
