Celebration Of Black Music Set

The Arts at Millersville University's Club 42 will present Lancaster musical group T.H.E.M. the Collective in "A Celebration of the Evolution of Black Music" on Saturday, Feb. 11. Doors will open at 6:30 for the 7:30 p.m. show in the third-floor atrium of the Ware Center, 42 N. Prince St., Lancaster.

The program traces the evolution of Black music starting with African drumming and continuing through decades of various music genres leading up to present day. The celebration features songs by artists such as Luther Vandross, Aretha Franklin, Donna Summer and Marvin Gaye.
