Celtic Festival Plans Modified

Plans for the annual Rose and Shamrock Celtic Festival and Feis, slated to occur in February, have been suspended due to the uncertainties caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. Each year, the festival brings thousands of dancers, musicians, and fans of Celtic culture to downtown Lancaster.

It is possible that the dance and music competitions can still take place in an altered form to reduce crowding and prioritize everyone's health and safety. All other elements of the festival, including bands, vendors, cultural presentations, and food, have been canceled for this year.

The festival board, led by chair Esther Pujol, plans to bring back the festival in 2022.
