Governor Dick Environmental Center, 3283 Pinch Road, Mount Gretna, will offer two special events. Programs are open to the public, but preregistration is required by contacting 717-964-3808 or governordick@hotmail.com and providing a name and phone number. Attendees should meet at the Environmental Center.

Drawing Close to Nature will be offered on Saturday, April 2, at 2 p.m. Participants will learn the tips, tricks, and joys of nature journaling. Attendees should bring their own journal. Color will be supplied. A fee applies.

Music on the Porch bluegrass jam will take place from 1 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, April 3. The program will be moved indoors in the case of inclement weather. Attendees are invited to bring a stringed instrument.
