Ceramic artist to display work, teach classes

Local artist Marina Paul will exhibit her handmade ceramics made from polymer clay at Mulberry Art Studios on Thursday, Sept. 28, at 7 p.m. The artist spotlight event is free and open to the public.

During the program, Paul will talk about her craft and her life as an artist, growing up in the Soviet Union, the tearing down of the Iron Curtain and emigrating to America. Refreshments will be served, and artwork will be for sale.

Paul will also teach three Polymer Clay Introductory Workshops on Mondays, Oct. 16, 23 and 30, at 1:30 p.m. The workshop will be held in the North Gallery at Mulberry Art Studios.

To register for the classes, contact gallery curator Stephanie Clayton-Kulfan at Stephanie.mulberryart@gmail.com. A fee will be charged for each of the three workshops, and there will be a one-time materials fee per student.

Mulberry Art Studios is located at 19-21 N. Mulberry St., Lancaster.
