Hospice & Community Care has announced a giveaway drawing for a 2022 Ford Mustang. The winning ticket will be pulled on Monday, Sept. 5, at 4:30 p.m. at the Labor Day Auction at the Solanco Fairgrounds, located on Park Avenue in Quarryville. Those who purchase tickets for the drawing do not need to be present to win.

The Labor Day Auction will take place on both Saturday, Sept. 3, and Sept. 5. Items up for bids will include homemade treats prepared by the Amish community, handmade quilts, original art and tools. Proceeds from the Labor Day Auction and the car giveaway drawing will help patients and families to receive care and comfort while coping with a serious illness, facing the end of life, or grieving a loss.
