The Quarryville Library Center, at 357 Buck Road, will hold a chicken barbecue, yard sale and book sale on Saturday, Oct. 21, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. This event will be held rain or shine.

For a donation, attendees may receive a barbecued half-chicken cooked by the Wakefield Lions Club, along with a bag of potato chips and a bottle of water. Purchasing advance tickets is strongly encouraged. The library will also offer whoopie pies for purchase at the event.

Inside the library, visitors may browse the book sale selection and the yard sale items donated by community members.
