The Forty Niners Chorus of Chester County is inviting choral singers to audition for its 2024 season. The chorus will hold auditions on Sunday, Jan. 14, at 7 p.m. at Olivet United Methodist Church, 310 E. Singers with all vocal ranges - soprano, alto, tenor and bass - are invited to audition for the chorus's upcoming spring and holiday seasons of performances. Attendees at the in-person auditions must prepare one piece to perform. Those who audition will also have the opportunity to ask questions about the group and its upcoming schedule.

The chorus, which has approximately 30 singers, performs many styles of music, including rock music, pop music, Broadway tunes and standards. Shows also incorporate acting and dancing.

The chorus will perform at senior living communities in and around the Chester County area in the spring and later in the year will hold its annual Christmas show.

The chorus also appears at local venues. In the summer of 2023, the group performed during a Reading Fightin Phils game. It also presented a Veterans Day concert at Tel Hai Retirement Community in Honey Brook.
