Christmas carol sing slated

Fine Arts on Greenfield will present its annual Christmas carol sing on Sunday, Dec. 10, at 4 p.m. at Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, 750 Greenfield Road, Lancaster.

The event will feature the Columbia High School concert choir under the direction of Elizabeth Baker. The group will perform well-known choral pieces and lead the audience in traditional carols.

Also featured will be Good Shepherd's brass ensemble and bell choir under the direction of cantor Christopher Prestia. Choral selections, instrumental music and audience carols will include "Hark! the Herald Angels Sing," "Jingle Bells," "Ave Maria, "O Come, O Come, Emmanuel," "Silent Night," "Joy to the World," "Personent Hodie" and "Do You Hear What I Hear?" Music will be played on a cathedral-grade pipe organ.

After the concert, attendees may attend a reception featuring food and opportunities to meet the performers.
