Grace Church, 62 Hahnstown Road, Ephrata, will host an outdoor event, Carols & Cocoa, on Sunday, Dec. 19, from 5 to 7 p.m. The event's purpose is to provide a space for people to enjoy some of the simple things that go with Christmas without needing to follow a schedule.

The event will include Christmas carols, music from the band Three Cords Bound, hot chocolate and coffee, s'mores roasting, and a children's craft. People may bring cameras so they can take photos with Christmas cut-outs and Frosty the Snowman. More than 25 door prizes will be provided by community businesses and organizations. Hats, gloves, and scarves will be given away to people in need.
