Church Plans Pork and Sauerkraut Meal

Lancaster Church of the Brethren, 1601 Sunset Ave., Lancaster, will serve a traditional pork and sauerkraut dinner on New Year's Day, Thursday, Jan. 1, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the church's Worship & Event Center.

The menu includes pork roast, mashed potatoes, sauerkraut, a roll, applesauce, dessert, and drinks. Attendees may eat at the church or purchase takeouts.

There is a fee for the meal, with a discount for children ages 4 to 8. Children age 3 and under may eat for free. The fee is payable at the door. Proceeds will support the ministries of the church's Witness & Welcome Team.
