Christ United Methodist Church Yorkana, 5 Main St., Yorkana, will host its annual Cruisin' & Malt Shop Night on Saturday, May 6, from 4 to 7 p.m.

The family-friendly event will feature an outdoor car and tractor show. Attendees may vote for their favorite vehicle for the People's Choice Award. Vehicle owners may register for free on the day of the event. Big Bob's BBQ food truck will be outside offering hot food and beverages.

Inside, there will be an old-time malt shop offering ice cream, sundaes, floats and milkshakes. The treats will be nominally priced. DJ Bob will spin '50s and '60s music, and people can request a song for a nominal fee.

Proceeds will benefit the Horizon youth group and other ministries of the church. The event will be held rain or shine. In the event of inclement weather, there will be no car show, but the other activities will take place.
