Church of the Apostles United Church of Christ, 1850 Marietta Ave., Lancaster, will host a performance by Berks Sinfonietta on Sunday, July 13, at 3 p.m. The chamber orchestra will present "Gershwin Comes Alive," a celebration of the works of George Gershwin, featuring Church of the Apostles' director of music ministry, Lars Potteiger, performing "Rhapsody in Blue."

Founded in 2014, Berks Sinfonietta is an intergenerational orchestra that brings together young professionals, advanced students, and seasoned musicians.

The concert is part of the Apostles Academy of Arts 2025 Summer Concert Series. The event is free to attend, and a freewill offering will be received.
