Church of the Apostles, 1850 Marietta Ave., Lancaster, announced an upcoming concert along with the results of a past benefit event.

Local jazz ensemble Swing Street will perform classic swing-based jazz on Saturday, July 8, at 6:30 p.m. in the pavilion at Rader Park, 1899 Apostle Way, Lancaster. In the event of inclement weather, the concert will be held in the sanctuary at Church of the Apostles. No tickets are required. A freewill offering will be received.

Church of the Apostles recently held its annual garage sale. The garage sale committee voted to donate proceeds from this year's sale and some that remained from last year's sale to UCC Disaster Relief for Ukraine as well as Disaster Relief for Turkey and Syria, with each organization receiving $1,000. The remaining money will go to the Pastor's Assistance Fund, Science in the Park, Milagro House, Clare House, and Mom's House, and funds will also go toward items needed at Church of the Apostles.
