Evangelical United Methodist Church, 157 E. Water St., Middletown, will host an Oktoberfest event on Saturday, Oct. 14, from 4:30 to 6 p.m. The event is open to the community. Dinner will feature schnitzel (breaded pork), spaetzle (egg noodles), rotkohl (sweet and sour cabbage), and German chocolate cake plus other desserts. Guests may dine in or obtain takeout.
