Bethany Presbyterian Church, 25 N. West End Ave., Lancaster, will host its annual spring basement sale on Saturday, May 20, from 8 a.m. to noon. Items will include household goods, tools, office furniture, jewelry, seasonal decor, lamps, puzzles, books and a one-of-a-kind lap robe. Hot dogs and coffee will be available for on-site consumption, while pulled pork barbecue will be offered for takeout.

During the event, the church-sponsored Boy Scout Troop 4 will sell chicken barbecue dinners at the rear of the church. Buyers will have the option of either whole chickens or half-chickens with their dinners.

Attendees should enter the sale area through the front stairs or via the accessible ramp at the back of the building.
