Zion Lutheran Church, 1905 Broad St., East Petersburg, will present "The Advent of Christmas," a production by Piercing Word, on Sunday, Dec. 3, at 3 p.m.

Inspired by traditional themes of the Advent season, "The Advent of Christmas" is a musical that celebrates the hope, faith, joy, peace, and love found in Christ. The production includes the traditional Christmas narrative from Luke 1 and 2 and other passages that highlight the birth of Christ and why His arrival matters.

There is no admission fee, and the program is open to the public. A freewill offering will be accepted in support of future programs.
