East Side Bible Church, 1035 Adams Road, Wrightsville, will host a packing project for Operation Christmas Child on Saturday, Nov. 8, from 10 a.m. to noon.

People are invited to come and put together gift-filled shoeboxes that will be distributed to children around the world through Operation Christmas Child. Gifts that people are encouraged to buy for the boxes include dolls or action figures, socks, small stuffed animals, coloring books, hairbrushes or combs, T-shirts, school supplies, small Lego sets, jump ropes, and small cars and trucks.

The church will also serve as a drop-off location for those who have already filled shoeboxes with gifts.
