Lewisberry United Methodist Church will present a Dog Days of Summer event on Friday, Aug. 23, from 5 to 8 p.m. Events will take place at the Lewisberry Commons, 308 Market St., Lewisberry, which is located across the street from the church.

Featured will be a free hot dogs and beverages, back-to-school clothing for children of all ages, games and a first aid and safety learning station. Visitors will also be able to meet the Summit Search and Rescue Bloodhounds.

All activities are free. Attendees should bring lawn chairs for seating.
